Wrongfully diagnosed with "mild exercise-induced asthma"-can I get into Air Force Academy?

My mother kept telling the doctor that I have trouble breathing after races (duh, because I run them hard) and but I never wheezed or had an "asthma attack." Therefore I do not believe I have any form of asthma. I really want to go to the ASAFA, is there any chance of me getting in?
