Texas Gardening Question?

I have a small garden. We are in a new subdivision without a lot of trees and flowers. I have been planting trees, plants to attract pollinators and it seems I am not having much luck. I know there is a honeybee shortage and I want to attract as many as possible and want some tips. Also how many plants and flowers do I need to get butterflies, bees and pollinators to my yard?
