How can we make our house look better?

I am a kid who wants to make our house look better, but my parents will not put any time or effort into it. I have cleared the land of the smallest tress (we live in the woods) and made the place able to be easily traversed around. I have used stone to line the driveway, sticks to make a garden fencing, logs and fallen trees to border stick piles, planted trees, and basically make the place what it is now. What else can I do as in what are other projects I can do to make the place look better WITHOUT going to the hardware or home improvement stores. Please help, Thank you
