Does this sentence make sense?

'Pouring unnamed potions into a black, mysterious pot; a troubled woman, with greasy, knotted hair hanging effortlessly from her head, chanted unspeakable spells with malice and evil intentions.' or have i used too many adfectives? and does the semi colon make sense? if not please can you give me some ideas on how to improve? thanks x
