Can someone explain to me how to use a semi-colon, a comma, and colon, In the proper way?

I have to pass the writing part of the compass test and my problem is the way punctuations are properly used. Although there are a lot punctuations my main problem is trying to use the colon, the semi-colon, and comma. So, if there is anyone that could be generous enough to delightfully enlighten me on how to use those few punctuations, I would be surely grateful.
